Christi Palmer – Coordinator
Robertson County

Christi Palmer is the Program Coordinator for Strengthening Families of the Brazos Valley in Robertson County.  Christi is a graduate of Tarleton State University where she received a BS in Business Administration, and is also a graduate of McLennan Community College where she received an AAS in Veterinary Technology.

She is a former Child Protective Services Caseworker and also has worked in the corporate sector as a financial controller and Human Resource Manager.  Christi has a passion for animals and worked briefly as a Registered Veterinary Technician while completing her bachelor’s degree at Tarleton State.

After gaining valuable experience and developing vital relationship skills throughout her career of over two decades, Christi joined the SFBV in June.

Christi hopes to make SFBV the most recognized and prominent program in Robertson County by informing the community about who they are, what resources they can help link the community to and the quality programs offered, as well as facilitate the evidence-based classes and ensure that community members benefit from the program by helping to make and keep families healthy.

In her spare time, Christi enjoys spending time with her family, watching youth and high school sports in which her nephews and niece play, and spending time at home with her horses and dogs.  Christi is interested in learning to cook new recipes and gardening to grow her family’s own vegetables and herbs.
