Nancy Winn
Brazos County

Nancy Winn, Program Coordinator for Strengthening Families of the Brazos Valley (SFBV) Brazos County, brings years of experience in prevention and community organization, along with a degree in Human Services, credentials in prevention and chemical dependency counseling.

After ten years in the private sector, Nancy decided to make a career change to work in the nonprofit field.  She brought her administrative skills to a non-profit in Houston, TX as an administrative assistant working with the director of programs for state and government funded prevention, intervention, and treatment services.

As she saw the organization’s work in the community, she developed a passion for the field of addiction and its mission to reclaim disordered lives.  With the encouragement of her husband, former director, and mentor, they  pursued their dreams to move to the Brazos Valley and open their own facility, 3rd Day Treatment Center, LLC in Brazos Valley.

Nancy spends most of her spare time with her family and friends. She enjoys nature walks with her husband and  her dog Sadie, swimming and many other outdoor activities with her family.  She also volunteers her time to food pantries, Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and church.
